On September 25, a French court found Nicolas Sarkozy guilty of criminal conspiracy. He was found guilty of allowing his closest associates to work with Muammar Gaddafi with the goal to illegally financing his 2007 presidential campaign. Sentenced to five years in prison, he has been held in solitary confinement at La Santé prison since Tuesday, October 21. However, this criminal remains a director of the Accor group during his incarceration.
